I feel touched....by many simple things...

by the support my frens and colleagues extended to me during my granny's funeral..especially those who arent that close to me..and those that made an effort to come to the funeral, to help out or whatsover...

by the morning calls I received ( and follow up calls!)....

by the msn and smses received during the "opportunity" period....

by the gifts from June from USA.....

by the lovely smses to remind me that I am being missed....

by the presents received during friendship day..to remind me that I am not alone..

by the treats given....

every time I feel frustrated..especially over work...I take a deep breath and remind myself that I have more in life than to allow myself to be enstrangled over things that may not really matter in the end...life is short..and I have better use for it than I might imagine..

You spent the first 20 years of your life competing with others for studies, next 10 to climb the corporate ladder, another 20 to watch your children grow and the final 20 to watch your grandchildren grow.....you realise that...if you dont do what you enjoy your free time...work for something you truly believe for and is passionate over...cherish the people you love.......

Life could be over before you know it...

Haiz..such deep feelings..as one turns 30 soon..;'P

Its officially Dec 31 now..in less than 24 hours...FY2008 will be gone..

Looking back..this year been a very tough one..somehow..I feel that I have lost much more than I have gained.. I was often unhappy and under stressed...but through this patchy times...I am grateful for all the friends that have stood behind me...offering me their listening ears and support...special thanks for Fer, SJ and XY..for having to starve often because my meetings always over run or I have some emergency matters to attend to during lunch times...for bearing with my occupational mood swings and bad tempers..and yet...giving me support whenver I need...Thanks to Raynauld..who offered..with 100% sincerity..to pay for all my lunches if I am ever out of a job..and promising to help me to find another..in such times...Thanks to Esther..for making an effort to catch up...and for listening to my woes..and even cries...at times...

And last but not least..thanks for pulling through this tough year with me..my SIT ("Sister in Trust")...Yunlin...

Xinying threw a baby shower..there were alot of people actually..but I didnt take pixs of the crowd..

Just think I should put in a random entry coz the blog has been dormant for quite a while..mainly coz I wasnt really in the right state of mind to blog over anything..life is pretty gloomy for now..but its okay..I will hang on and try to remain positive..

Anyway..this is super late..but bdae treat from Xinli ...

Xinying finally delivered baby Marcus in September..seemed only like yesterday she was expecting..and suddenly...

And sorry Xinying that I have not been able to find much time to visit you at punggol..hopefully after the next 2 weeks...I will be able to find more time to do that..

Department farewell lunch for Grace...its really sad to see her leave...afterall...I have been working under her for the longest time ever..since I joined the company..for 5 years...somehow I feel that we gone through quite a lot togther and she has always been like a mentor and friend..someone can bear with my tantrums at time and tolerate my arguements with her...will miss her lots...but feel happy for her that she is moving on to assume a much better role elsewhere...proud of her =)

Bdae dinner celebration with my mother..she is too shy to take any pictures coz we were in this really atas place in Fullerton...San Marco..half a bottle of wine, 2 entrees ,2 main course and 1 dessert came up to SGD 399!! I wasnt even full after dinner..!! serving sooo little...its really expensive..but its good for the experience and I think my mum really enjoyed it ( she better!!)

Met kevin and treated him to a bdae dinner tonite..went to his "not- that-new" apartment at mount emily..its a pretty nice place but I think it must be pretty expensive!! check out his apartment..

JUst realised I forgot to take pix of the toilet..they are pretty nice..haiz...next time den ( if there is a next time..haha)
